- Hammer drill (On-ground application)
- Dynabolts (On-ground application)
- Impact driver or drill
- Measuring tape
- Angle Grinder (for advanced installations)
- Safety gloves and goggles
Your step-by-step guide
In-ground Installation
Measure your positions and dig your holes
Dig your hole depth according to desired height of screenTime to install posts
Repeat steps ensuring posts are in line with the first postOn-ground Installation
Mark and drill four (4) holes with a hammer drill
Install posts
Fix to concrete with dynabolts
Make sure posts are levelFor the rest of the posts, measure 910mm to the centre of each post.
Install bottom brackets
Use 2 brackets for joining posts and 1 bracket for outside postGet your screens ready
Making the holes bigger on the screen helps the screen to expand and contract in different temperatures.Slide frame onto screen with the top and bottom frame overlapping sides, then secure at centre on top and bottom.
Side frame : pre-drill a 3mm hole 300mm from top and another 600mm from the bottom. Make the holes bigger on the screen with a 12mm drill bit.
Advanced Installations
In-ground installations on uneven land, may require cutting screens, frames and posts to the correct size.
Use a string line to help you level the top of your postsInstall Screens
Screens should sit evenly in the middle of the posts. Fix screen to posts with supplied screws into pre-drilled holes.
Make sure screws aren't too tight to allow for expansion & contraction.Repeat steps until all screens are attached and secure!
